Mr John Fitzpatrick is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with a subspecialist interest in endourology, complex kidney stone disease and endoscopic management of upper tract urothelial cancer. He also manages general urological conditions including urinary tract infections, bladder symptoms, benign prostate disease and penoscrotal problems.

Mr Matthew B.K. Shaw is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with specialist interests in kidney stone disease, prostate enlargement and prostate cancer diagnosis. He offers a broad surgical practice, combining clinical care with research, guideline development, patient safety leadership and medical education across Newcastle and the North East.

Mr Bhavan Rai is a Consultant Urological and Robotic Surgeon specialising in robotic-assisted surgery, minimally invasive surgery and urological cancer care. His practice focuses on prostate cancer, kidney cancer and upper tract urothelial carcinoma, with a strong academic and national leadership profile in robotic uro-oncology.

Mr Campbell Tait is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with specialist interests in prostate and bladder cancer diagnostics, benign prostate enlargement and general urology. His practice also includes kidney stone disease, urinary tract infections and inguino-scrotal conditions, delivered with a calm and patient-centred approach.

Mr Luk is a Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in urinary stone disease, benign prostate enlargement and endoscopic treatment of upper tract and bladder cancers. He has a particular interest in endourology innovation and uses advanced minimally invasive techniques to support precise, patient-focused urological care.

Arjun is a Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in robotic pelvic oncology and reconstructive urology. Based at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, he provides care for pelvic cancer, functional and reconstructive urological conditions, with a focus on treatment planning that reflects each patient’s needs.

Mr Rajan Veeratterapillay graduated from Newcastle University with distinction in 2006 and undertook specialist training in urology in the North East of England before completing his FRCS (Urol) examination in 2014. He subsequently completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and renal transplantation at the Freeman Hospital before being appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in 2016. He is a fellow of the European Board of Urology.
